Leadership development outdoor adventures for youth and school groups

Overview

Genesee Valley’s enthusiastic educators provide leadership development, teambuilding and outdoor adventure field trips for elementary through college-aged students. Through hands-on challenges and creative problem-solving scenarios, participants can learn many life skills necessary for both individual and team success. We offer day or overnight programs for groups from 10 to 200 people. Our challenge course is one of the largest of its kind in the country, comprised of over 60 low and high ropes course elements, including climbing walls, wire bridges, areal obstacles and zip lines.

Our facilitators can also come to your school to lead team-building challenges and group games with portable props. We facilitate off-site programs in the winter months as well.

As an educational non-profit organization, we are very intentional about utilizing our course for group and personal development, rather than an amusement park or “pay-to-play” experience. Before arriving, we encourage visitors to familiarize themselves with our philosophy and mission; we’ve found that groups have the greatest success when all participants are clear on expectations for the day.
