Summer Camp Counselors at Genesee Valley Summer Camp are responsible for supervising and facilitating one group of 10 to 12 campers per week, ranging in age from 4 to 16.
This position entails the ability to facilitate high and low ropes course elements and familiarity with the programs for various camp activities (i.e. fishing, archery, arts and crafts). This includes belaying, ziplines and rescues.
Engage with young people, leading games, and initiative activities while inviting them to explore nature and their surrounds. Create a positive space where children can learn without judgement, embrace adventure and be themselves.
