You can work at GVOLC and get college credit! Genesee Valley is an Educational Not-For-Profit Organization. Our program is modeled after the principles of adventure and experiential education. Our management staff has experience teaming up with institutions of higher learning to provide meaningful mentorship and job experience in our field. We have a great working relationship with a number of local colleges and have facilitated many internships during the last decade. If you are a college student looking to fulfil your internship requirements, GVOLC might be the place for you!
Marketing and Social media - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, MailChimp platforms used to broadcast the happenings at Genesee Valley. Gain skills in Canva, Mailchimp and other devices that support our marketing material. Interns have had the opportunity to work with Adverting Company 186 and strengthen networking opportunities.
Non Profit Management - take on role of Assistant Program Director for an experiential learning center. Learn various medias to connect with clients, support in daily preparations for groups and camp.
Data Collection and Analysis - Support in the efforts of collecting data from all participants, teachers, chaperones, and summer camp families. Does our programming support our core pillars? Create data sheets that represent our findings.
